Jedi News will be busy over the weekend of May 4th. James, Brian, Matt and me will all be attending the 5th annual Star Wars Fan Fun Day in Burnley and over in Chicago our very own Marc Zachacki will be attending this event, as will our brother in the Force Jimmy Mac.
Here’s Marc, explaining a bit about the event.
Star Wars: A New Hope returns to the big screen on May 4th to help a good cause. What better way to celebrate National Star Wars Day than to watch the movie that started it all! Join me and our good friend Jimmy Mac, from Rebel Force Radio, at this charity event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The event will be held in Woodridge, Illinois at the Hollywood Blvd Theater. The movie will be shown at 10:45 am, with prescreening activities starting at 9:30 am. Tickets for this event are $30 and include a continental breakfast, soda, popcorn and a free ticket for a movie on your return visit.
Chicago-Area Star Wars Fans! Join us for a charity screening of the original Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope on Star Wars Day, this Sunday May The Fourth, at Hollywood Blvd in Woodridge. Proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Admission price includes a ticket to the screening, continental breakfast, soda, popcorn and two tickets for a return visit to see another film at Hollywood Blvd! An incredible deal! Come join us to watch Star Wars: A New Hope the way it was meant to be seen – on the big screen – on May The Fourth!
