The Creator Dominates VES Awards Plus Wins for The Mandalorian and Postcard From Earth

The 22nd Annual VES (Visual Effects Society) Awards took place last night at the Beverly Hilton in LA with The Creator claiming five wins, including the leading category for outstanding VFX in a Photoreal Feature, plus there were awards for The Mandalorian and Postcard From Earth.

Here are all the ILM wins: –

  • Outstanding Created Environment in an Photoreal Feature – The Creator – Floating Village – John Seru, Guy Williams, Vincent Techer and Timothйe Maron
  • Outstanding Model in a Photoreal or Animated Project – The Creator – Oliver Kane, Mat Monro, Florence Green and Serban Ungureanu
  • Outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature – The Creator – Ludovic Ramisandraina, Raul Essig, Mathieu Chardonnet and Lewis Taylor
  • Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature – The Creator – Jay Cooper, Julian Levi, Ian Comley, Charmaine Chan and Neil Corbould, VES
  • Outstanding Compositing & Lighting in a Feature – The Creator; Bar – Phil Prates, Min Kim, Nisarg Suthar and Toshiko Miura
  • Outstanding Effects Simulations in an Episode – The Mandalorian, Season 3 – Lake Monster Attack Water – Travis Harkleroad, Florian Witzel, Rick Hankins and Aron Bonar
  • Outstanding VFX in a Special Venue Project – Tie for Postcard From Earth and Rembrandt Immersive Artwork – Postcard From Earth – Aruna Inversin, Eric Wilson, Corey Turner and William George; Rembrandt Immersive Artwork – Andrew McNamara, Sebastian Read, Andrew Kinnear and Sam Matthews
