UPDATE: IGN has posted a short video of their interview with Dave Filoni at the Season 2 premiere.
——————————-
We’ve got an exciting official confirmation to share with you that came out of the Star Wars Rebels Season 2 Red Carpet Premiere that took place at Celebration Anaheim 2015. We first heard that Sam Witwer would be joining the Rebels cast back in early March. Now it has been revealed that Dave Filoni confirmed to IGN at Celebration that Witwer will be providing the voice of Emperor Palpatine in the series.
I for one am a huge fan of Witwer’s work and consider his involvement in Rebels to be a slam dunk no-brainer decision.
