During an interview with IndieWire to promote his new film, A Talent for Murder, Alden Ehrenreich was asked if we would see him reprise the role of young Han Solo again.

If you look at the way history works with all this stuff, no one expected to see Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man again. Also, last time we spoke a couple of years ago, you mentioned you felt you only got to play Han Solo as the Han we know for only about the last 15 minutes of that movie.
