An Orbital tribute to the Mos Eisley Cantina by Sylvain Runberg and Serge Pelle

Orbital is a fantastic European comic by Sylvain Runberg and Serge Pellé, and chronicles the story of Caleb, a human, and Mezoke, a Sandjarr, who are paired up and trained as special agents to keep the peace in an intergalactic multiracial organisation set up 8,000 years before.

The story is a huge, galaxy spanning sci-fi thriller and is an excellent read – you can have a look at the Cinebook website here and, as dirty and grimy as it can be, has a wonderful pulp action feel to it, much like our beloved Star Wars.

And, with that in mind, the people who bought us Orbital have now bought their own Star Wars tribute, Cantina Wars. It’s a short story published in the Spirou magazine Special Starwars No. 3626.
