An article posted on MetroUK informs us that Carrie Fisher’s daughter has been named the sole beneficiary of the late actress’ estate.
According to court documents obtained by People magazine, the Scream Queens star will inherit several bank accounts, a 2016 Tesla S, full ownership of several LLCs and a life insurance policy.
The estate also includes personal items including jewellery, artwork and collectables, and Billie will also gain the rights to her mother’s public image and likeness as well as intellectual property rights including ongoing proceeds from the Star Wars legend’s books, specials, trademarks and copyrights.
Lourd will not be keeping everything from Fisher’s estate in her own possession. Some of the items that Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds had collected over the years will be available for purchase via an auction that is scheduled to take place on September 23 with a percentage of the proceeds being allocated to a charity founded by Reynolds called Thalians and mental health charity named The Jed Foundation.
