At a Q&A session during the 6th Annual MoffettNathanson Media & Communications Summit, Bob Iger has confirmed a third live-action TV series is in development for Disney+ (following The Mandalorian and currently-untitled Cassian Andor series).
We can expect one more live-action #StarWars series to come to Disney+ beyond the Cassian Andor series and #TheMandalorian. $DIS

No other specifics about the series or its theme were revealed except the following general comments from Iger (via Entertainment Weekly):
“My guess is there probably will be at least one more live-action series that we produce for Disney+, a Star Wars series, before we release the next film,” Iger said. “So we’re not doing nothing. I believe these TV series will be extremely popular for Star Wars fans and very very valuable to Disney+ while we gear up for the next set of films. We haven’t said anything more beyond what we’ve announced on the next film.”
Earlier in the Q&A, Iger confirmed the next Star Wars film in 2022 would be by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.
