Bryce Dallas Howard Set to Direct ‘All Of Her’ for Lionsgate

Bryce Dallas Howard is set to direct All of Her for Lionsgate, written by Sarah Streicher and based on an original story by Jurassic World filmmaker Colin Trevorrow and Streicher.

The studio is currently seeking an actress to play the lead character, which encompasses multiple roles.

Metronome Film Company’s Trevorrow and Annys Hamilton will produce. Howard will also produce with her Nine Muses Entertainment.

Nathan Kahane, president, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said, “This movie has it all—a hugely fun idea, an incredible part for a lead actress, and amazing talent behind it all, with Bryce leading the way as director. We’re excited to get the ball rolling.”

Previously Howard has directed the Apple TV+ feature documentary, Dads, as well as episodes of Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandolorian and The Book of Boba Fett, and upcoming Skeleton Crew as well as various shorts. Howard is also developing Flight of the Navigator for Disney. She also directed the feature docu Pets for Disney+

Streicher created and executive produced survival drama The Wilds on Amazon Prime Video and was an early collaborator on the Oscar-nominated Pixar feature Turning Red.

Metronome recently completed British crime comedy Deep Cover, set for release by Amazon MGM in 2025. Their Lilly Wachowski-directed Trash Mountain is set to go before cameras early next year. Metronome is developing sci-fi epic Atlantis for Skydance and time travel series Halcyon for Amazon MGM. Trevorrow has focused the company’s early efforts on producing for other filmmakers, for example All of Her is based on an original idea he brought to Howard and Streicher.

Rebecca Linfoot will oversee for Metronome. John Swartz will Executive Produce and Nia Farrell will Co-EP for Nine Muses.

Howard is directing an upcoming episode of Skeleton Crew, coming to Disney+ in early December.
