Who is Hillary White?
A 5′ 6″ blonde rabbit.
Where are you from?
A small town on the coast of Maine.
What are a few of your favorite things?
The ’80s, pop culture, sushi, ventriloquist dolls, scary movies, classical art, synchronicity, drawing, painting, Alice in Wonderland, etc.
Where did you study or are you self-taught?
A little bit of both…I have been focused on drawing and painting since I was about 10 (with encouragement from my parents and teachers). I attended college(s) as a painting major, switching into new media my 3rd and final year, and then decided that more school wasn’t for me…Although, I kept on with art-making.
How would you describe your style to someone that’s never seen your art?
“Colorfully demented”What does a typical day in your life look like?
It depends on the project; if it’s a painting, sitting in front of an easel most of the day…and if it’s a shirt design, the computer. And there is eating and drinking (sometimes a quick jig) in between. Hold on to your fun-sticks, folks!
