Check out this video from Chive Cast and Archive member Skye Paine and take part in a great cause.
Hey James & Mark, its Skye, from the ‘Chive Cast and the Archive. I am contacting you to help publicize a little Star Wars related charity thing that I have going on at the moment.
As you may know, I have been a Chewbacca focus collector for over 20 years. In 2008 I made a video in which I cut of my hair for “Locks of Love” and connected it to my collection. Well, at Celebration 6 I made another video for them in which Peter Mayhew himself cut my hair. Since that time Danny, a friend of my children, died of neuroblastoma. The original video was for him since he had suffered hair loss from chemotherapy and this new one is trying to raise some money for his charity, Danny’s fund.
The main way I’m hoping to get donations is have people voluntarily donate $.98 to download a very catchy and strange song that I made for the project “Hairy Wookiee No More.” Please forgive my mock british accent. It just seemed to fit the tune. :^)
