Comic-Con@Home 2020: Colin Trevorrow Shows Scrapped TIE Fighter from His Star Wars Film

Colin Trevorrow addressed his axed Star Wars movie during a Comic-Con@Home directors’ roundtable with Robert Rodriguez (Alita: Battle Angel) and Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy), and shows off an unused TIE Fighter model.

When asked about a project that he never got to realize, the Jurassic World director showed off a painted 3D model for an augmented TIE Fighter he designed with his son called a “TIE Marauder.” Obviously, the unique vessel never made it into the galaxy far, far away; it was rumored that Trevorrow’s ninth episode for the Skywalker Saga was titled “Duel of the Fates.”

“This is the only one in the world and it’s an amazing memory for me when I got to do something that was an incredible experience,” he said.
