Seems like we have a bit of confusion surrounding one of the (main?) characters that will be debuting next month in Solo: A Star Wars Story. The genesis of this confusion comes via the pages of the latest issue of Star Wars Insider (#180) which arrived in my mailbox yesterday morning. One of the highlights of the issue is a piece titled “Solo: Rogues Gallery” which provides readers with details on some of the primary players in the film. An image of Enfys Nest is featured on page 29 along with the following sentence:
With his face always obscured beneath a fearsome helmet, Nest is deadly, athletic, and percussively vicious.
The word of great importance in that sentence is “his” as we saw information earlier this month via a French trading card that referenced Nest as being female. Naturally I’m taking everything I read in an issue of Insider as fact/official, but is there more here than meets the eye? Could we be in for a surprise reveal sometime during the events of Solo when it comes to this new character? Or is the text included in the French trading card just flat-out incorrect?
Stay tuned…
