Daisy Ridley Shares ‘the wait will be worthwhile’ for the New Rey Movie

Daisy Ridley has spoken exclusively to ComicBook.com in celebration of the release of her new horror movie, We Bury The Dead, and had this to say about the delayed Rey cinematic project, sharing “the wait will be worthwhile”.

“I am six years older. I am in a different moment. I think the story will be wonderful. I think the wait will be worthwhile. I think it will be a discovery, as all roles are, of where Rey is when we meet her again.”

Daisy has a busy schedule in 2026 so it will be interesting to see if there’s time set aside for principal photography for her return to Star Wars, or if it will wait to 2027 or even later.
