
The collective Star Wars community continues to buzz over last week’s bombshell news that saw directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord replaced by Ron Howard as the helmers of 2018’s young Han Solo standalone film. Right after the announcement was made, Entertainment Weekly posted what they heard from their sources on the factors that led to the rift between Miller/Lord and Lucasfilm with a similar report coming via Variety.
Today The Hollywood Reporter posted a new article that dives deeper into what caused this break-up to occur (again, according to their sources), from the speed with which scenes were being captured on film to “deep fundamental philosophical differences” on how the movie should be developed.
