Disney Gallery Reveals Mark Hamill Cameo in The Mandalorian

In the final episode of Disney Galley: The Mandalorian, that aired exclusively on Disney+ yesterday, Jon Favreau revealed that Mark Hamill was the voice of EV-9D9 in the cantina on Tatooine, in chapter five of The Mandalorian titled The Gunslinger.

EV-9D9 was last seen on screen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, as the droid responsible for new acquisitions in Jabba’s Palace. Set many years later in The Mandalorian, EV-9D9 is now responsible for tending the cantina’s bar on Tatooine, a place that previously banned droids at the time of A New Hope.

Mark Hamill is known for his voice talents, having been the voice of the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series for many years. However, this is not the first time that Hamill has lent his voice for a Star Wars character, he first voiced Darth Bane in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and also voiced characters in both the The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

You can watch the final, eighth, episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian and chapter five of The Mandalorian exclusively on Disney+ now.
