
New theme park reopening guidelines, issued by the State of California, have served another blow to the proposed reopening of Disneyland, meaning it will remain closed for the foreseable future and may not open until 2021; Disneyland President Ken Potrock responds.
Disney and its representatives have hit back at the State of California and California Governor Gavin Newsom, as they feel strongly that they have proved they can reopen the Disneyland Resort in a safe and effective way, as shown by the restrictions in place at Walt Disney World in Florida. This resulted in former Disney CEO Bob Iger quitting the State Taskforce in protest at the continued restrictions. Here’s hoping that an agreement can be reached soon to avoid further lay-offs.
