Entertainment Weekly Has The Facts On The Rogue One Reshoots

So much has been going on this week with talk of the Rogue One reshoots causing internet reports/rumors to be all over the map depending on the content provided to them via their source(s). Seems like each day there’s a new site claiming to know what’s true and what’s false. Thankfully, Entertainment Weekly put in the wrench work to get to the bottom of all the noise and provide fans with some real news on this hot topic.

After reaching out to deeply placed sources on the movie and at Lucasfilm to sort fact from fiction, Entertainment Weekly has learned new details about the state of the project – including who’s working on the new sequences and what those scenes involve.

You’re gonna obviously want to take the source link below to check out their full article for all that they learned during their investigation, but here’s how a few of their sources basically summed up the planned reshoots:

“The changes have everything to do with clarity and character development and all take place [as inserts] within scenes we’ve already shot,” said one source on the project.

In other words, they changes involve more intimate moments – not redoing entire battle sequences or plot lines. “It’s a lot of talking in cockpits,” as one insider described the new footage.
