Lucasfilm has released an extended look at the October 7 hour-long premiere episode and more of the new animated Star Wars Resistance TV series on the Disney Channel. We also have our first look at Captain Phasma (click the image below for a closer look) voiced by Gwendoline Christie in her all-new animated form as well as a few seconds of General Leia voiced by Rachel Butera!
The first teaser trailer for the series was released last month.
With just over a week until the series premiere, here’s an all-new sneak peek at what’s to come including a first look at fan favorite characters and locations from The Force Awakens, including Captain Phasma!
The one-hour series premiere of Star Wars Resistance will make its debut on October 7th on Disney Channel (10 p.m. ET/PT) and DisneyNOW. Two additional new episodes will be available via the DisneyNOW app and Disney Channel VOD, giving kids and families access to the series wherever and whenever they want to watch.
Earlier Resistance videos released by Lucasfilm gave us a look at the mechanics from “Team Fireball” as well as the group of pilots that make up the “Aces” assigned to protect the Colossus. Additionally, you can check out the official synopses for the first 5 episodes in the series right here.
