Felicity Jones was asked on BBC’s The One Show yesterday, May 3rd, 2023, if she would be reprising the role of Jyn Erso for the second season of Andor, and whilst she responded ‘no’, she went on to say that she hoped the character will return at some point.
On reprising the role of Jyn Erso for the second season of the Disney+ series Andor, Jones said…
“I’m afraid to say I won’t be, but I still have hope for Jyn Erso at some point to make a comeback. But no, sadly I won’t be.”
She was later asked a question that was sent in from a viewer, who asked which of her roles would she most like to go back to, and to that she answered…
“I actually wouldn’t want to repeat any of [my characters], it’s so funny — once you’ve sort of done it and you’ve kind of put them to bed, then you’re ready for the next challenge.”
