Grogu has Fun With the Google Search Engine

To celebrate the launch of the third season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian on Disney+, Google have decided to let Grogu have some fun on their website.

Google users who type “The Mandalorian” into the search bar today are treated to a little adorable mayhem. An animated Grogu appears in one’s browser, apparently smashing web search results and images into little bits on the browser screen. Clicking on the image of the impish little Force user will bring more delightful chaos as shown in the video below.

In addition to the search term “The Mandalorian”, searches for “Baby Yoda” and “Grogu” also bring up the cutest bounty hunter sidekick in the galaxy.

Known as a Google Easter Egg, this bit of Boolean whimsey is not new. Typing “World Cup 2022” late last year produced animated Argentinian Flags in honor of the winning nation’s team. A search for “Drop Bear” will produce a falling Koala Bear on one’s monitor (don’t worry, the little guy is okay).

The first episode of season three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian is available now on Disney+. Meanwhile, work at Jedi News has paused while we entertain ourselves with some Grogu Google Giggles.
