While promoting his new film Little Italy, Hayden Christensen has offered some advice for Kelly Marie Tran….
“Don’t take it too seriously,” Christensen told ET Canada. He stated trolls are “unfortunately the ones that make the most noise,” adding it is important to keep in mind that “the majority of people don’t feel that way.”
Tran deleted her Instagram and other social media over racist and sexist comments related to backlash against The Last Jedi. She would break her silence in an op-ed in The New York Times addressing the hate and her experience growing up in America and breaking into Hollywood.
In her essay, Tran wrote she felt “brainwashed into believing that my existence was limited to the boundaries of another person’s approval.” Tran also said throughout her life she was always made to feel like she was part of an “other.”
The Last Jedi star recently received support from co-star Mark Hamill who tweeted, “I love you, Loan… we don’t deserve you & you ARE just getting started.”
