STRONG in the Force, one man from Tewkesbury has proved to be.
Roy Hooper has created his own version of Yoda, the Jedi master from the Star Wars saga.And the life-size model is not the first sci-fi icon that the 48-year-old has created at his home in Tewkesbury.
Roy, of Northway, already had a model Dalek in his room when he began work on his Yoda five months ago.
He was inspired to create the Star Wars hero by the anniversary of one of the famous films.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of the films and this year is the anniversary of Return of the Jedi,” said Roy.
“I thought it would be a great way of marking the 30th year since it came out.
