All round good-guy and Lucasfilm stalwart Phil Szostak has taken to Twitter to share a chart detailing the numerous technological innovations that have changed cinema for the better, inspired/created by George Lucas, ILM and Skywalker Sound — it is well worth a closer look!
Love that this chart highlights George Lucas, @skywalkersound, and @ILMVFX’s oft-overshadowed technological innovations, like the motion-control camera, go motion, animatics, THX sound, CG animation, non-linear video editing, etc, alongside the masterful storytelling.#StarWars pic.twitter.com/2CFMlElYa5
