James Arnold Taylor Shares His Opinion on Plo Koon’s Survival from Order 66

The voice behind Obi-Wan Kenobi and Plo Koon in Star Wars: The Clone Wars has shared his thoughts on whether Plo Koon could survive Order 66, stating “if Darth Maul can survive Obi-Wan Kenobi cutting him in half, then Plo Koon could survive Order 66.”

James Arnold Taylor voiced Plo Koon in the Clone Wars animated series, and he has some thoughts. Speaking at the Clone Wars 15th anniversary panel at Florida Supercon, Taylor made his case. “I always say if Darth Maul can survive Obi-Wan Kenobi cutting him in half, then Plo Koon could survive Order 66,” Taylor said.

“I would love it if they brought him back, but I would be really thrilled if we were able to extend what they did in the last series with Ahsoka and Plo,” Taylor continued. Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi, also survived Order 66 and has been seen in other projects such as Star Wars: Rebels and The Mandalorian. Plo Koon and Ahsoka enjoyed a close relationship in Clone Wars, one that was shared by their actors James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein. “I’d love a whole mini-series of when she was little, and him training her as a Jedi. I know that Ashely is an amazing actress and she could voice little Ahsoka, and she could voice midsize Ahsoka, and then full grown Ahsoka, because we’ve seen all that. I would love to see their arc told more. I want to know what happened there.”
