On Friday evening at the Hollywood Bowl in LA, John Williams debuted the first new music from Indiana Jones 5, performing the theme for Helena, as played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, with the express permission of director James Mangold.
Mangold shared the video on Twitter saying…
This man is so gifted, charming & in love w/ making his art, even at 90. Astonishing to consider the worldwide impact of John’s music & his ability to tune modern ears into the passion & purity of an orchestra. It’s a euphoric honor to collaborate w/ him.
Let us know what you think of the new music — we cannot wait to hear more! Indiana Jones 5 will be released on June 30th, 2023.
