He gives a big middle finger to the First Order, survives a TIE fighter crash, develops a deep relationship with a girl who cracks him upside the head with her staff, becomes one of the good guys, and nearly loses his life in a lightsaber battle with Han Solo’s temperamental son. How’s that for some character development?
