Mexican actor Alexis Ortega, widely recognised for voicing Spider-Man in Latin American dubs, has died at the age of 38. The news was confirmed on Tuesday by World Dubbing News, though no details regarding the cause of his death have been released at this time.

Born in Mexico in 1987, Alexis Ortega began his career in 2013, working both on screen and as a voice actor, according to reports from El Mundo América. He later became known for providing the Latin American Spanish voice for Tom Holland in several Marvel films, including Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War. Ortega also lent his voice to a number of major Disney releases, with Spanish-language dubbing roles in films such as Big Hero 6 and Star Wars: Rogue One.
