Michael Waldron Comments Briefly on Writing Kevin Feige’s Star Wars Film

In a spotlight piece posted on Vanity Fair’s website, Michael Waldron spoke in very brief and general terms about being selected by Kevin Feige to pen his new Star Wars film. As expected, Waldron does not reveal anything specific about this project in the VF article, although the article does act as official confirmation of his attachment to Feige’s journey to that galaxy far, far away.

[Waldron] can’t say much about getting the call to work on Feige’s Star Wars, but he can say, “You’ve heard all my references here. Star Wars! Indiana Jones! [Kathleen Kennedy], she’s made so many of my favorite movies. So to get to collaborate with both of those entities is a dream come true.” Waldron’s Lucasfilm gig came with a lucrative overall deal at Disney.

Stay tuned for more on Kevin Feige’s Star Wars project as details emerge.
