New Construction Permit Filed for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

A new construction permit was filed on August 26th for the shuttered Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World, citing “Protect H” and “general construction” the work is set to be carried out by Balfour Beatty Construction, and as usual the permit lasts for a year.

No other information is provided and the scope of the work is unknown. We know from Josh D’Amaro that ‘something will happen’ with the Galactic Starcruiser, but we still don’t know what that is, or if this permit relates to some form of future guest-facing project or the conversion into offices for Walt Disney Imagineering.

We are watching developments closely and will share more information as soon as we can.
