If we are to believe what is written/posted in the social media world, Mark Hamill may have revealed a bit of noteworthy news in a recent Twitter exchange with a fan. In response to a fan pining for the release of a new Episode VIII trailer, Hamill responded by telling to fan to tune into ESPN’s broadcast of Monday Night Football on October 9.
Hamill’s tweet has since been deleted, leaving us to wonder if he was just joshing around with the fan or inadvertently let the cat out of the bag by providing the date (and delivery method) of a new trailer for The Last Jedi.
The time frame and usage of MNF for the debut of this trailer would coincide with the same delivery method that Lucasfilm/Disney used for the final trailer release for The Force Awakens.
We shall see.
