Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will introduce a new droid character named SM 33 voiced by British actor Nick Frost, as revealed by PEOPLE.
Series creator Jon Watts has this to say of the new droid…
“He’s like a rusty old, cranky droid that sort of reluctantly helps the kids along the way,” he says with a laugh, noting how “fun” and “absolutely perfect” Frost’s contributions are. He adds, “The other thing about him is that he’s the first mate of a mysterious ship.”
Skeleton Crew will stream on Disney+ from December 4th in the UK/Europe and December 3rd in North America.
