The weekend cinema service at The John Barry Theatre at Pinewood Studios and The Korda Theatre at Shepperton Studios are set to close at the end of February due to sustained low audience numbers, with final screenings set to take place on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025.
Going forward, both venues will continue to provide occasional, more targeted cinema screenings for the community, as well as charity screenings and events. These events are typically better attended and resonate well with their audiences.
We recognise that this will cause some disappointment to attendees of the weekend cinema screenings, but we hope you will enjoy the events we will schedule and host in the future.
The final Pinewood Cinema screenings will take place on the weekend of 21, 22 and 23 February at Pinewood and Shepperton. Films showing in the final weeks include We Live in Time, Nosferatu and Babygirl.
