Director J.J. Abrams and members of the cast from The Rise of Skywalker were part of the programming schedule yesterday at Comic Con Experience in Brazil. Abrams, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac spoke at varying lengths about coming together to wrap up the story of the Skywalker saga, the return of Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, the topic of Rey’s parentage, and more.
Abrams, when speaking about the subject of Ian McDiarmid back as the Emperor, teased the “extraordinary power” of the character and how exciting it is to have him back in Episode IX as the Emperor is set to have a significant impact on our heroes.
