According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Gina Carano has joined the cast of writer Jon Favreau’s upcoming live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian in an unspecified role. Sources have reportedly confirmed the casting to Variety as well. Carano, who first burst onto the scene as a successful MMA fighter, is the latest actor/actress to be linked to this new Disney+ series, joining previously-reported Pedro Pascal.
Disney/Lucasfilm has yet to officially announce either Pascal or Carano as being attached to the project, so stay tuned for those details if/when they are revealed.
