Take the following update with as much salt as needed at this time, but according to this article posted on Omega Underground, sources have told them Lucasfilm is eyeing January 2019 as the start time for filming at Pinewood Studios of a standalone Star Wars film featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi.
We saw a report back in August that mentioned Stephen Daldry as the lead candidate to direct this standalone film. This long-wished project has not yet been officially announced by Lucasfilm (if it even will be), nor do we know if Ewan McGregor will be returning to the Star Wars saga in the titular role. So as we stated at the top, consider this information to be nothing more than rumor material right now.
