With the trailer now here and tickets currently on sale, the official runtime for Episode IX has been confirmed to indeed be this previously-stated length (155 minutes in total), making it the longest theatrical Star Wars film ever released.
The 2 hour, 35 minute runtime for The Rise of Skywalker just nudges past the previous Star Wars length record that was held by The Last Jedi by three minutes.
