Confirming the report from a few weeks ago, Variety has learned that Solo: A Star Wars Story will in fact be arriving in theaters in China on May 25, the same day it debuts in the United States and other parts of the world.
“Solo: A Star Wars Story” has been confirmed for a mainland China theatrical outing on May 25, giving the spinoff film a day-and-date outing alongside North America and most of the rest of the world.
Solo is set to premiere May 10 in Los Angeles followed a few days later by a screening at the Cannes Film Festival May 15. Click the image below for a closer look at the new Chinese poster that has also been revealed.
