In an article posted over on That Hashtag Show, sources have reportedly told them that a certain well-known character that first appeared on screen in Return of the Jedi will have a significant role in the upcoming young Han Solo standalone film.
Who is this character?
Word is notorious crime lord Jabba the Hutt, who obviously has a history with the titular character, will be included in the film. THS’ sources have told them that Jabba will be realized on screen via a combination of both practical and CG effects.
Treat this purely as rumor material at this point, though the chances of it becoming a reality are pretty good considering the established relationship between these two Star Wars characters.
