According to sources who spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, The Last Jedi will feature a scene that includes a pretty impressive foursome. Princes Harry and William along with actor Tom Hardy and singer Gary Barlow will be donning Stormtrooper outfits in the film and will all be present on screen at the same time. The foursome will also be joined by John Boyega’s Finn in the scene.
Much like Daniel Craig’s famously clandestine cameo in 2015’s The Force Awakens (opposite Daisy Ridley’s Rey as she fools him with her Jedi mind-trickery), the four were rumored to be squeezing themselves into Stormtrooper outfits. Sources now say that not only will the two royals, plus Hardy and Barlow, appear in The Last Jedi and as Stormtroopers, but they all appear together in the same scene. THR understands that the four will be seen guarding Boyega’s character, Finn, in an elevator, surely making it Star Wars’ most secretly star-studded sequence of all time.
The Royal family visited the set of Episode VIII during production back in April of last year (check out our Jedi News Facebook page for photos from their visit) and rumors came to light about Hardy possibly having a role in the film back in May 2016. Barlow’s participation in The Last Jedi was reported on earlier this year in March.
