Star Wars Artists Month (SWAM) on R2KT.com is over for its first year, and you can now order one or all five different coloured commemorative coins to celebrate its success. Over to Albin to explain all the details….
Star Wars Artist Month was a tremendous success. We set out to feature 30 artists in the month of June on r2kt.com and now featured 47 artist through July to a combined audience of 247,000 fans thanks to our partners. Wow!
To commemorate this first-ever SWAM we are issuing a very limited run of a commemorative coin featuring the event’s beloved mascot: Graffiti Gonk! Designed by Dave Liew, Graffiti Gonk represents everything crazy and fun about the Star Wars art community. And in the tradition of an art festival, we can’t just do one color for the reverse side. No, no! We are offering a selection of red, blue, green, yellow, and silver as the reverse side of the coin! Pick your favorite color. After all, art is all about creative expression.
