One Star Wars fan has rearranged which titles go with each installment, and they make more sense. George Lucas created the galaxy far, far away in 1977 with the release of the first Star Wars movie, which has since become known as Star Wars: A New Hope. But, Lucas’ vision for the franchise wasn’t straightforward. Audiences entered the story with Episode IV-VI and it wasn’t until the prequels arrived in the 2000s that Episode I-III.
Over the last few years, Disney and Lucasfilm continued the Skywalker Saga by releasing Episode VII-IX. Every entry was highly anticipated by fans and even the title reveal of each created a lot of discussions. Fans wondered what Star Wars: The Force Awakens title implied about what happened after Return of the Jedi, and the reveal of Star Wars: The Last Jedi sparked multiple theories about its true meaning. Then, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker led many to wonder what Skywalker would rise after Luke’s death.
Every Star Wars movie title is memorable, but one fan has pointed out how none of them works best with the movie they originally described. A TikTok from fake.disney.facts (shared by @prestoncmoore on Twitter) shows which titles should be attached to each movie. With the reasoning laid out in the video, the new title placements make more sense.
