Star Wars fans continue to push Disney and Lucasfilm in the hope that they can make them revive The Hunt for Ben Solo movie project, with a new mobile billboard rolling through New York City.
A truck with an LED sign bearing the slogan “Save the Hunt for Ben Solo,” in addition to the URL for the campaign’s website, SaveTheHuntForBenSolo.com. Previously, the campaign has staged demonstrations at Disney’s headquarters, flown planes with banners over Disney’s studio lot, and rented a Times Square billboard — which they have, once again, in tandem with the billboard truck. Undoubtedly, more will follow. The film’s supporters also have a celebrity ally in the form of The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, who recently spoke on the film with Collider: “Take my money! I only know what I read about it online. I didn’t know anything about it, but who knows how things are developed these days? But man, I will watch Driver in anything, but I would love to see him play that character again.”
The new fan campaign sent the mobile billboard to the Disney Store HQs in New York City, where it played “I Need a Hero.”
