Lucasfilm has officially announced today that Season 4 of Star Wars Rebels will premiere on Disney XD on Monday October 16. A new trailer has been released as well!
It was revealed by Dave Filoni during the Rebels panel at April’s Celebration Orlando that the series would be coming to an end with Season 4 as the Lucasfilm animation team switches gears to focus on developing new future projects. Could the long-rumored animated TV series set in the timeline of the Sequel Trilogy be the next project on the horizon?
Season 4 will be truncated compared to previous seasons as it will contain only 16 episodes including a few two-part episodes. This final season also differs from Seasons 1-3 in that it will take viewers on a long continuous journey that essentially plays out like one extended story arc.
Brace yourself for what is certain to be a thrilling final season of Star Wars Rebels on October 16 and enjoy the new trailer posted below!
