Whilst we wait patiently for the first series of Skeleton Crew, coming to Disney+ later this year, the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) have shared that the season will consist of eight episodes.
Skeleton Crew, set in the same timeframe as The Mandalorian, features Jude Law in the role of an unnamed Jedi. The show is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Christopher Ford, and Jon Watts, and is based on an idea from Watts who had this to say of the series, “It’s the story about a group of kids, about 10 years old, from a tiny little planet who accidentally get lost in the Star Wars galaxy. It’s the story of their journey trying to find their way home.” Dave Filoni teased that the kids are set for a big adventure, but it “might be more than they can handle”.
