41 years ago today something happened in the world of cinema that changed the lives of some many people. 25th May 1977 is a date that so many people are able to recite as the birth date of Star Wars!
Yes, the year of celebrations for the 40th anniversary has now passed, and the 41st year is now upon us. We felt it right to use the image above for this article as this poster was issued on the 1st anniversary of A New Hope back in 1978.
