During an interview series with Oprah Winfrey titled “Actors On Actors”, Thandie Newton spoke briefly about her being cast in the upcoming young Han Solo standalone film. Newton was officially announced as a cast member by Lucasfilm back in February after the internet first heard about her rumored involvement in the project several days earlier.
