We’re thrilled to be able to announce the 10th member of The Force United, the collaboration of fan sites that launched at Celebration VI back in August.
TeeKay-421 is the site of the long-running Belgian Star Wars fan club TeeKay-421. Launched in 1997, the club releases 4 issues per year of the excellent TeeKay-421 magazine (for which I am proud to be their UK Correspondant) as well as regular meetings for fans of the saga.
TeeKay-421 vzw is the name of the Belgian Star Wars fanclub. It was founded in 1997 by Christiaan Vertez, Laurent Bettens and Tim Veekhoven. TeeKay publishes four magazines a year (articles, interviews, reviews), organizes club meetings & contests, runs a website with message board & has held several charity actions. The magazine and website are in Dutch.
The website of TeeKay won the award of best non-professional website in Belgium in 1999. In 1999 TeeKay also became a vzw, which means a non-profit organization.
TeeKay-421vzw is an official friend of Wookieepedia.
With Celebration Europe II only a few short months away we couldn’t imagine a better partner for the show.
Welcome aboard, and stay tuned for our next member which will be announced at the end of January 2013.
