After being jettisoned and abandoned on the corrosive salt flats of planet Ingo by a nefarious former owner, R2-D2 and C-3PO are rescued by new masters: good-natured speeder racers Jord Dusat & Thall Joben. With their souped up, super-sleek landspeeder the White Witch – assisted by their newly acquired R2 unit! – the boys hope to win the annual Boonta Speeder Race. But their plans take a dangerous detour when they, the droids, and a mysterious girl named Kea Moll wind up in the crosshairs of the notorious Fromm gang, who are using Ingo as a secret base to build “Trigon One“ – a weapons satellite capable of destroying a planet and wiping out all rival gangs!
