Thanks to Empire magazine‘s latest issue, Andor showrunner Tony Gilroy has revealed the one character he wished he could have included in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as Vel Sartha, played by Faye Marsay.
Asked whether there were any of his original characters that he would like to bring into the fray if he had carte blanche on Rogue One: “I’d want [Faye Marsay’s] Vel there for sure. My God, think of Vel’s take on [Rogue One protagonist] Jyn Erso! I’m sure she’d have some very choice things to say about her. Jyn would light up all of Vel’s irritation.”
