Last weekend was my local Comic Con, Chicago’s C2E2. As well as covering the event for Jedi News, I also had the oppertunity to troop with my local 501st Garrison.
I got the chance to cosplay as The Emperor, and we made up some election placards for the event, even bumping into Andi from starwars.com as we polled for votes!
I must give a huge thanks to all the members of the 501st legion that made C2E2 better than ever before! Especially Eric Werner for running the booth in a professional manner and Kevin Glass for letting me control R2-D2, that was a dream come true. Being apart of typical 501st Convention events like Droid Hunt and Blaster Arena make me already start counting down the days until C2E2 2017.
